Hi Dave,

Mac OS Catalina and Bigsur support ended on 12 Sep 2022 and 26 Sep 2023
respectively. Should we drop support for this platform?
Also for Ubuntu 23.04 support is ended in Jan 2024, should we drop this?

Thanks,
Yogesh Mahajan

That sounds reasonable to me (for the next release, not the in-progress
one). Any other opinions from folks?

Yes. Can you come up with a proposal for the changes please?

FYI, I've updated the macOS download page with a support matrix:

https://www.pgadmin.org/download/pgadmin-4-macos/

I'll go disable the Ubuntu 23.04 build in a moment.

Hi Dave/Team,

Should pgadmin support platforms till Active Support or Security support in
case of open source OS?
Here are EOLs for Rocky OS versions.(Reference

We've generally followed what is called "Active Support" there, or
"Maintenance Support" if you look at the RHEL page. I'm open to dropping
support earlier than that for some of the really long term support releases
(particularly when we start running into Python support issues), but it
seems very early to start thinking about that for EL8 at this point.

Hi,
Thanks Dave. It was not particular to EL8 or so. It was a generic question
for all.
