Subject: Assistance Required: Lost PostgreSQL Logging Details
To: pgAdmin Support Team
From: [email protected]
Dear pgAdmin Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am reaching out to request assistance regarding an issue I’m currently facing. I have lost access to my PostgreSQL logging details and am unable to retrieve them. I would appreciate it if you could guide me through the steps necessary to recover or re-enable logging on my system.
I am using pgAdmin on a Windows machine, and this is the email I used during registration: [email protected].
Please let me know what information you need from me to proceed. I look forward to your guidance.
Warm regards,
Idorenyin Udoh.

Hi Idorenyin,

You can configure SMTP on the pgAdmin server which will allow you to
"Forgot password" and then a password reset link will be sent on your
email. Check for "Mail server settings" in
https://www.pgadmin.org/docs/pgadmin4/latest/config_py.html
If you're the admin or the one who set up pgAdmin, then you could also
simply delete the pgAdmin.db file and set it up fresh.
Let us know the installation OS details so we can provide the path for the
pgAdmin.db file.
