Changed the order of the parameters of the createStatement to conn.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY,ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY,ResultSet.HOLD_CURSORS_OVER_COMMIT );
and now it works.
