Before installing the new versio= n over the old one, save the binaries and libraries to another path=2E You = can later provide this path to pg_upgrade=2E

And th= ere the problem arises as older version binaries get overwritten when = we upgrade/ install the new version of Postgres=2E

the storage format=2E  Try and see=2E

Recommendation: keep using PGDG packages=2E
