We are thrilled to announce the release of **IvorySQL 3.4**, based on PostgreSQL 16.4. This version brings significant enhancements, bug fixes, and new features to improve your database experience, with a focus on Oracle compatibility.

#Key Highlights:

## PostgreSQL 16.4 Enhancements
- Improved security with prevention of unauthorized code execution during pg_dump
- Enhanced accuracy of Merge Right Anti Join plans
- Resolved VACUUM infinite loop issue
- Fixed partition attachment problems
- Improved ISO-8601 time format handling

## Oracle Compatibility Features
- Oracle sequence support added
- New xmlisvalid function
- Character type limit set to 2000 in Oracle mode
- Support for adding constraints to existing tables using ALTER TABLE ADD (CONSTRAINT ...)
- New Oracle-compatible functions: TO_MULTI_BYTE(), TO_SINGLE_BYTE(), ASCIISTR(), COMPOSE(), DECOMPOSE()
