Message-ID: <[email protected]> (raw)

The call for proposals for Prague PostgreSQL Developer Day 2026 (P2D2 2026) is now open. To submit a proposal use the form at:

[https://cfp.p2d2.cz/p2d2-2026/cfp](https://cfp.p2d2.cz/p2d2-2026/cfp)

**The call for proposals will close on November 14 (end of day)**. We plan to notify speakers shortly after that, and publish the schedule by December 1st.

The conference will happen on January 27-28 in Prague, Czech Republic. The event focuses on topics for PostgreSQL users and developers. For additional information about the event, visit the [conference website](https://p2d2.cz/en/).

We are accepting proposals for talks and workshops in both Czech and English. We'll consider including lightning talks, those will have a separate call for proposals.

The talks are 45 minutes long (but may be shorter if requested) and may be on any PostgreSQL-related topic. Suggested topic areas include:

* Developing applications for PostgreSQL
* Administering large scale PostgreSQL installations
* Case studies and/or success stories of PostgreSQL deployments
* PostgreSQL tools and utilities
* PostgreSQL hacking
* Community & user groups
* Tuning the server
* Migrating from other systems
* Scaling/replication
* Benchmarking & hardware
* PostgreSQL related products
* Using PostgreSQL to implement AI systems
* Criticism of Postgres, missing features
* Comparisons to other databases
* Opportunities to improve Postgres

These topics are merely hints - we're happy to receive any proposal related to PostgreSQL, of course.

We're also looking for workshop proposals - longer sessions (either half-day or whole-day), for smaller groups of attendees (~ 20 people).

The proposals will be evaluated by CfP committee. The members of the committee are listed on the [website](https://p2d2.cz/en/cfp-team/). You may also contact the CfP team at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).

All accepted speakers will get a free ticket for the second day (with talks). If you require assistance with funding to be able to attend, please add a note when submitting a proposal.

**Call for Sponsors**

We have also opened our Call for Sponsors. We offer three sponsorship levels. If you are interested, please see the [details](https://p2d2.cz/en/sponsorship/) and and consider applying using this [form](https://p2d2.cz/call-for-sponsors).

If you have any questions about sponsorship, feel free get in touch at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).

We look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you in Prague!
