Message-ID: <[email protected]> (raw)
We are pleased to announce **Swiss PGDay 2026**, which will take place
on **Thursday 25 June and Friday 26 June 2026** at the OST Eastern
Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, Campus **Rapperswil (near Zurich)**.
The two-day conference will have two tracks. Presentations will mainly be in
English, but there will also be some in German (with at least one in English in
each time slot).
To encourage networking in the community, a social event will be organised at
the end of the first day of the conference.
The [*Call for Speakers*](https://2026.pgday.ch/call-for-papers/) is open until **7 April 2026**. We expect the
schedule to be available by the end of April 2026.
There will be a lightning talk session. Submissions for the lightning talk
session will open a week prior to the conference.
You can also submit a poster description until 8 June 2026. Posters will be
displayed in the exhibition area. We encourage poster submitters to present in
a lightning talk session as well.
Companies can take advantage of this unique opportunity to connect with the
Swiss PostgreSQL community by sponsoring the event. See the
[*Call for Sponsors*](https://2026.pgday.ch/become-sponsor/) for details.
Registration for attendees will open in March 2026.
