I don't think that it is that crazy to be able to define a partitioned table as unlogged, assuming that we could use that to make the children inherit the same state. We don't allow a mix of temporary tables and permanent tables as temp table's state does not persist after the session ends leading to a mess with dependency handling for the partition tree, but we cannot have that problem with unlogged tables. -- Michael --2JFBq9zoW8cOFH7v Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCgAdFiEEG72nH6vTowiyblFKnvQgOdbyQH0FAl1TdnYACgkQnvQgOdby QH38zQ/+MyJJCdYe7DxKINohaIXZAf/3BVhCZIbZbXU/ejjtmu3iFNRcXkcQg54i 9Jjn8sHNyHnv+ixF2FRwOmtM0vRkY4vcByZab6ETsIBtlrOjy96xesazjTFTLqVW NWVo5D4OOtle6YSzHNVLlEluyAwPels94bRw9hOIetq/5nKLtIKReUpKE1ZjdHNi cNE/f18h7BqJjKZObdSjdePh+PC8AzUHDzqslnkatVOimz5Wl40my9RVvUYABqho +PX6jtLpvW/XTrnHxWBOm3uO3S/60nBTi3OOPOtgO0K9iScm5s3sFkk/TK1S0b9R sx5DQRshejDRVNYHiQZj2q+TTU3KmGxoAEMYMrlOOtgsEeP4aXyC7shHdWJLzfLh sVkpuog34YkFXiSHYzYecfgPnMIJIKaQj+TI9VMzrBH7nHIKuDqYlHw72PP6vcRu Y5xz5IQf89F3z0aWwZCN/usYFLlEnDpbVbr3SaGxxh1mWG2wDpWgq6HcgPK4AUO9 eRVPtne1/I02ZBIp6MiVOAV7mdSpA0fx/Npm9EwdUV8VpdqnOJBywh+fA8aZrsS2 Id+vmdW+kpGCJhlBgKEw9MIdK9hxd52NxC+S+EW6B4Kbh7NMIhRYdyI8ZtairKrr lw2uduu3Vu+ZY2eJ2OdhpdWVtrbl2Kp5aLmFOzQT9bX+I+K+nKo= =uOK1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --2JFBq9zoW8cOFH7v--
