Having the tables is IMO still useful as a quick reference for users that don't have immediately psql at hand when working on an application, for example imagine somebody using pgAdmin. And I would imagine that such people are not few. Another risk here is somebody using psql with a server that has a major version different than the one they are working on, leading to false assumptions? Having at least a mention to those psql shortcuts in the docs is still a good idea IMO, as said upthread: https://www.postgresql.org/message-id/20200804055651.GC2091@paquier.xyz -- Michael --WYTEVAkct0FjGQmd Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCgAdFiEEG72nH6vTowiyblFKnvQgOdbyQH0FAl9BDjcACgkQnvQgOdby QH2ZSRAAmSTq43/uK2mMLi03KzNntFcyTSN9xdbYscVBc5StCmdUAX8CUfk1NWmf CICDHC2Ifq1lv778dehvxTvir9MnvgDvgSwDOELNKrb9l13ZGV2ebiPkFDMS0TBZ TO8460n8c0oDBAZ9EuGfrtbxk++lr/Gklp7CioEbI8OuhhkDZvs5jWzNicSzsyiR Dr+4kVN+JwFrrPznI9szGbULIGJGULg2dj/7s0WYcsqs5eHtRFX72RPD16wx7nev PNNePpSBuig9k7ZAOdzmLGIMCpj5ED6qI5VMRhK7xul19cmKarxhWaAjGX9m/d9y 95/x+IWvZO85kk9lImTAY0pN8FRJg55VO5mn5DCiZk5Uw1mFBevSyv8QiU7tmHeQ 72g4CNjr3OxcWsOfNpPPsuvNuFWGfpB0VcQvK+2qBJski7fI5MZOk6+KLin1VWHm /qCkdRpdsmw4eZuaJ8T3YpxBXZsGVI1DxKvIKRqkxC82T9NF5Uy7W9obUUKdp/NR dkn7TEnsfiPuG/+kiDoFcL/gVhTd7k3G+xah+ui2dtVKMOZIiV6YOb7E7BHLO0HO rdsCiTDYp3yiP5soj3mImVzxvZWYXtP/Xk1CT700oqGNmEy/zatWv9Dof0rPu6LI EGK4tpsBPp60djyAz18P2bCzhNwLL/GHKe17rxlS2uZVQPbPKG8= =+7kB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --WYTEVAkct0FjGQmd--
