Yes, your =E2=80=9Ccode=E2=80=9D is the user contents of the SQL file.

Your best bet is probably to locate the various =E2=80=9Cset_config(=E2=80=
=98search_path=E2=80=99,
=E2=80=98=E2=80=99)=E2=80=9D commands and add =E2=80=9Cpublic=E2=80=9D to t=
hem.  Since you installed earthdistance
to public this should bridge the gap.
