Sorry, I meant <implicitly typed value specification>.


The point being that CAST(ARRAY['1', '2', 'three'] AS INTEGER ARRAY 
DEFAULT NULL ON CONVERSION ERROR) will give you (CAST NULL AS INTEGER 
ARRAY) and *not* ARRAY[1, 2, NULL].
