Instead of sending a specific mail, what about automatically adding a
mail header like:
X-CommitFest-Entry: <https://commitfest.postgresql.org/X/Y;
to every outgoing mail whose thread is associated to a CF entry?
It feels more principled and less "in-your-face" than one dedicated
message, plus it would work for all the patches that are already
registered.
On the web archive, the displayer could show it as a clickable link,
along with the main mail headers (from, to, date, Message-ID...), if
it's deemed important enough to make it prominent.
Otherwise one can click on "Raw Message" to see all headers.
Best regards,
