Under the source tree, go to the interfaces directory, and there is a directory for the perl interface (Pg.pm). You have to enable the Perl option when you run configure, and you will also have to install the module as root, since it gets installed under the module hierarchy wherever you have Perl installed. Then you only need to do a 'perldoc Pg' to see the documentation on it. See the build instructions for more information on the how to install the Perl module. Brett W. Actually, Pg.pm is also a non-DBI interface to PostgreSQL: http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/mod_perl/cpan-search?site=ftp.funet.fi;modinfo=14303 If the script has "use Pg;", then this is the module you need. If it says "use DBI;", then you need the first module Greg mentioned. --keith -- kkeller@speakeasy.net alt.os.linux.slackware FAQ: http://wombat.san-francisco.ca.us/cgi-bin/fom
