When I build it (and the assorted libs and dlls), it will connect properly, but crash when I hit enter at the prompt. The version you put up creashes when I hit enter after executing a command (ex: I type 'select * from sometable' and hit enter. rows are returned, and I'm back to the prompt. If I hit enter again, it dies). Have you any idea why this may be occurring? I'm currently having to telnet into my linux box/postgreSQL server to run pgsql...kind of a pain. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Magnus Hagander" To: "'Constantin Teodorescu'" ; "Franck PAUGNAT" ; "PostgreSQL Interfaces" Sent: Tuesday, August 29, 2000 8:12 AM Subject: RE: [INTERFACES] Re: Windows' DLL for PgAccess and Tcl/Tk 8.3.x > > > I want to update my DBMS and use the new version of > > postgreSQL(7.0.x) and > > > of Tcl/Tk(8.3.x). > > > Since I want to continue to use PgAccess(0.98.6) with > > Windows 9x, I need > > > the new version of libpq.dll and of libpgtcl.dll . > > > > > > Can you send me URLs where I can download those DLLs ? > > > > Not yet compiled for Pg 7.0.x and Tcl/Tk 8.3.x > > > > I cannot compile them because I'm not a Windows user. > > We hope that someone else will compile those DLL's and make them > > available! > > I have put the native win32 binaries (psql.exe, libpq.dll and the .lib:s) up > on: > http://www2.edu.sollentuna.se/admins/mha/pgsql/postgresql-7.0.2-bin-win32.zi > p > > I'm afraid I don't know what to do about libpgtcl.dll. > > file://Magnus
