Hello,
Has anybody done anything towards having ECPG produce
ODBC code? Or, has anybody seen an ESQL/C to ODBC
preprocessor?

Thank you

I'm not sure it's that easily done, but the idea is interesting. Anyway,
I never though of it and never heard anyone else mentioning it.

I would have expected to have something vice versa, meaning
move from ODBC to ESQL/C. This approach looks more
appropriate to me and easier to implement anyway.

Not if you have lots of ESQL-C code that you need to port
to a database that doesn't have an ESQL-C translator, but
does do ODBC.
