While I tried to extract the the information of timestamp, I am getting 3.30 hrs difference to the value which is actually in the database. I am using JDBC1.3.1_02 and using pgjdbc2.jar as a JDBC driver.
What is the problem?

Prasanna,
Are you sure you are comparing the two values in the same timezone. Can
you send a simple test program that reproduces the problem? Also have
you tried the 7.3 driver to see if the problem still exists with the
latest code?
thanks,

Sounds like a timezone issue to me. Are you perhaps in a timezone
which is 3:30 offset from GMT?
