WiTopia, Inc. is looking for a seasoned Postgresql database application programmer.  The application that will continue to be developed and maintained is written in zsh and ruby.  We are looking for someone with familiarity with mfsBSD, an understanding of the FreeBSD build process, and with Salt.  An understanding of the network security relationship between certificates and such programs as OpenVPN and IPSec is desired and preferred.  Other database administration tasks (backup, restore, create, optimize, etc.), along with experience with Certificate Authorities, including Let’s Encrypt, exposure to AWS services like Route 53, S3, CloudFront, etc., as well as operational experience with NTP, Unbound, NSD, RADIUS, Squid, and other network operational tools desired but not required. 

This is both a remote and a part-time contract position.  WiTopia is located in Northern Virginia, US, currently GMT -5 and would prefer candidate be available during part of core business hours of 9 AM - 5 PM (1 PM - 9 PM GMT).
