DBtune is hiring a Database Engineer to join our team in Malmö, Sweden. The

We’re a PostgreSQL AI startup focused on making PostgreSQL faster, more
efficient, and cost-effective. You’ll contribute to our ML-powered
optimization engine, and play an important role in improving database
performance across various platforms.

*Key responsibilities include*:

   - Tuning: Optimize PostgreSQL performance using advanced automation
   methods, working closely with our machine learning team to design, extend,
   and enhance our optimization engine.
   - Benchmarking: Design and implement benchmarks to test new and existing
   optimization solutions.
   - Customer interaction: Gather requirements and support partners by
   explaining PostgreSQL internals and the DBtune optimization engine.

*Requirements*:

   - 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL database administration and
   tuning.
   - Familiarity with benchmarking and monitoring tools.
   - Willingness to speak at PostgreSQL community events around the world.
