Hello Postgres DBAs! Talent Scout is looking for a Postgresql DBA to join our client in a full-time or contract position. This position is remote, but candidates may need to initially travel to the Kansas City metro area. We are currently only considering candidates authorized to work in the US with no requirement for sponsorship.
Must have:
Postgres database experience with large scale databases
Large data migration experience
Experience optimizing/indexing queries
Must be able to design ERDs (entity relationship diagrams)
Datamart experience
CI/CD pipeline experience
Cloud experience
* 5+ years of experience administering, monitoring, and tuning database workloads on PostgreSQL.
* Strong SQL performance tuning and data modeling skills
* Production experience administering change data capture and change tracking.
* Expertise with database monitoring platforms
* Service-focused attitude with the initiative to identify & resolve issues before they become critical
* Strong people skills and the ability to collaborate and partner with others across teams to address issues
