Fujitsu is seeking engineers to join our PostgreSQL open-source development team.  Job title and salary commensurate with experience. Location is not a constraint. This position involves

working with the PostgreSQL community writing, reviewing, and testing patches for PostgreSQL.


A qualified candidate will have 8-15 years of experience with the following:


- At least 5 years of recent C/C++ programming experience.

- Significant knowledge of database internals, either with PostgreSQL or some other RDBMS.

- A named contributor in the PostgreSQL community is a big plus.

- Previous involvement with the PostgreSQL community is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Solid communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.

- The highest level of personal and professional integrity.

- Experienced in working with a global team.


This position involves working with the PostgreSQL community writing, revising, and testing patches for PostgreSQL. We are looking for people who are passionate to work on large engineering projects.
