*Duration: Permanent*

*Location: **REMOTE but must reside in a US time zone (so anywhere in 
the americas)
*

Day-to-Day production operational tasks, database administration, 
architecture, and automation of database services & solutions.

*Skills Needed:*

  * 3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL administration (on prem and cloud)
  * Backup and restore (pg_dump, physical backup tools) experience.
  * Database performance tuning.
  * Strong SQL Query tuning and development experience.
  * Troubleshooting skills.
  * Experience with Postgres PL/pgSQL.
  * Replication and failover experience
  * Linux command-line operating system experience (Centos/RHEL 7/8
    preferred).
  * Scripting and task automation (Bash, Python, Git).


*Nice to Have:*

  * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including cloud DB
    technologies (RDS, Aurora).
  * Experience with Patroni high availability.
