Hello,

I had to reinstall my laptop today, and I thought: hey, why install FC42
when FC43 will be GA next week. So I installed FC43 beta, and tried to
install my pretty PostgreSQL 18, especially since
postgresql.org/downloads offers install script for FC43.

There cas no issue to install the repo package, but I can't install
PostgreSQL:

I went to https://download.postgresql.org/pub/repos/yum/18/fedora/ and
found only fedora 41 and fedora 42.

You can imagine I'm pretty sad... :-(

If you can upload the packages, that would be awesome.

Thanks.

Hi Guillaume,

Currently Fedora 43 packages are in the testing repositories, so you
need to enable pgdg-common-testing and pgdgXY-updates-testing repos.

Cheers, Devrim

You're definitely right. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I feel a bit ashamed but at least, it's working :)

Thanks again.

Cheers.

Thanks for confirming. I tried to test a lot, but this release includes
major changes in our packages (mostly around sysusers.d integration), so
another eye would be great.

Thanks!

I just installed from v13 to v18. I launched v18 and it seems to be
working. I had to refresh collations but otherwise, looks good to me.
I'll keep you updated if I find any issue. (BTW, FC43 is GA today, but I
guess you already know that.)
