Subject: Why doesn't the "extras" repo have all HAProxy 3.2.x patch versions?
Date: Wed, 29 Apr 2026 13:22:50 +0100
Message-ID: <CADjwvTNkUsfodLT9euTg7frPPnVU4jUJuUt+fwCJUH-rWmFnVQ@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
The "extras" repo has HAProxy 3.2.0 -> 3.2.8 available:
https://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/repos/yum/extras/redhat/rhel-9-x86_64/
Checking on HAProxy, there are newer patch versions 3.2.9 -> 3.2.16
which are not in PGDG:
https://www.haproxy.org/bugs/bugs-3.2.8.html
Is there a reason for this? I'd prefer to stay on 3.2.x as it's LTS,
whereas 3.3.x will only exist for 1 year and then be unmaintained.
Thanks.
Greg.
