So, I met several members of Postgres Women at Brussels (FOSDEM) and we discussed an idea I particularly love: Having funds for women to be able to speak at conf talk events or to simply come as attendees to conf talk events (I'd rather these funds to be used to pay for speaker accommodation, though). There are two ways to take care of that kind of a foundation : - Either we manage the money and to do so we need to create an association (with elected board and so on) (option 1) - Either we use PostgreSQL Europe (and PostgreSQL US) and ask them to create a budget for diversity and manage the money for us (option 2) - Or you can always say it's a bad idea (option 3) - Or that you don't care (option 4) You can vote here: https://goo.gl/forms/BeqRz7MHcFVrmY713 Vote will be open until the 28th of February, 23:59, CET. Hi everyone,

I'm sorry for tha= t long inactivity period: life happened.

So, I met several members o= f Postgres Women at Brussels (FOSDEM) and we discussed an idea=C2=A0
I p= articularly love: Having funds for women to be able to speak at conf talk e= vents or to=C2=A0
simply come as attendees to conf talk events (I'd= rather these funds to be used to pay for=C2=A0
speaker accommoda= tion, though).

There are two ways to take care of that kind of a fou= ndation :
- Either we manage the money and to do so we need to cr= eate an association (with elected board and so on) (option 1)
- Either w= e use PostgreSQL Europe (and PostgreSQL US) and ask them to create a budget= for diversity and manage the money for us (option 2)
- Or you can alway= s say it's a bad idea (option 3)
- Or that you don't care= (option 4)

Vote will be open until the 28th of February, 23:59, CET.
Cheers,

L=C3=A6titia
