On Mac OS X, there's Marc Liyanage's binary package, which is about as simple as it gets to install. But PostgreSQL also compiles pretty nicely out of the box. So I think it is really more a question of being known and known in a good light. Also on Mac OS X Server, MySQL is included by default. Has anyone tried to lobby Apple about including PostgreSQL too? Cheers. --------------- Francois Home page: http://www.monpetitcoin.com/ "If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear." - George Orwell
