I think there are about a half dozen ppl looking at 're-writing' the site now :( the big problem I think that ppl are hitting righ tnow is "what technology to use" :) We've had everything from OpenACS to Bricolage to straight PHP to ... Dave, what is the status of Adrian(?)'s work? Everyone should be back from holidays now, no?
