Would someone please update the date of this event to November 19th?
Thanks.
Also, the Brazil events had a two-month timespan. In the future, I
think we are better off putting the specific training days rather than a
long range like that.

Someone already has by the look of it.

The code only handles a start and end date. If we limit that, all I see
happening is dbExperts submitting lots of individual events. I don't
immediately see a sensible way of allowing a number of individual dates
to be submitted without vastly complicating the code.

Not really --- I see a date in the detail, but not on the main page:

Bruce Momjian will be presenting an introductory talk about PostgreSQL
at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
Perhaps this is because it is only a single day.

Oh, OK. I thought it was just an event in September and another in
November and they just put in one entry. Is there enough interest that
they have a two-month event?

HiT Allora - http://www.hitsw.com/products_services/xmlplatform.html - the leading RDB-to-XML tranformation tool just added support for PostgreSQL.
Details:
Allora leverages leading edge XML mapping and database technology to give application developers bi-directional access to relational databases without the need for complex SQL or XSLT programming. Allora speeds development and deployment by accurately and transparently transforming data structures between XML elements/attributes and relational database structures. Once Allora mapping is in place, full bi-directional XML-RDB access is enabled. Allora gives developers a simplified, consistent XML interface to relational data.

Thanks, Devrim! I think I may have made a mistake in entering it,
however, I chose 9/10 through 9/16 for the dates, thinking it was the
*display* date rather than the event. Could you correct that if I did
it wrong? Sorry for the hassle.

Hi,
While we are changing our web site, we should also apply the same design
(maybe with slight color changes) to developer site.
I'm volunteer to do all the stuff (we have develnew.PostgreSQL.org for
testing purposes), except doing the virtual design (I'm *very* bad at
that). If someone assist me the initial design (header, footer, style,
etc), I'll do all the other coding stuff.
Regards,
