Greetings,

  Attached is a patch which simply copied the text of the annoucement
  (which is tucked down under 'Latest News') up into the callout box at
  the top, with an update to note that Thursday is tomorrow (in case
  anyone wasn't sure).

  For my 2c, I think that we're announcing this sufficiently loudly
  elsewhere that it's odd that it isn't in the callout box and, instead,
  some older release is.
