This is the message I get when I execute the deployer 

c:\ProgramFiles\PostgreSQL\8.0\data>java
org.postgresql.pljava.deploy.Deployer
Exception in thread "main"
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/postgresql/pljava
/deploy/Deployer
