Hi Thomas,

Thanks for replaying.  I am using PL/Java 1.1.0, PostgreSQL 8.0.3, and 
Gentoo Linux system.

My base Java directory is /opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.02/bin/java.  It 
looks normal to me.
