Hi all,

For your information the java6 branch now builds.  I'll emphasize
*builds* since I've not tested it.  In particular, not all bugfixes in
1.4.2 have been merged in yet.

Be aware that each commit may break compatibility with older code.

To play with it you can follow the directions in

I've merged all bugfixes in 1.4.2 to the java 6 branch.  Enjoy.
