There are quite a few things I'd like to do before releasing a Java 6 version on the unsuspecting world. In no particular order: o Implement the java.sql.SQLXML datatype as a thin layer to PostgreSQL's native XML type. Possibly implementing StAX directly on top of libxml2. o Clean up unsupported exceptions. o Review/rework the security infrastructure. o Implement methods that aren't supposed to throw unsupported exception when possible. o Clean up some whitespace/coding conventions in the current JDBC 4 stubs. In the mean time, will an "experimental" release help? -- Johann Oskarsson http://www.2ndquadrant.com/ |[] PostgreSQL Development, 24x7 Support, Training and Services --+-- | Blog: http://my.opera.com/myrkraverk/blog/
