Due to some unavoidable circumstances, I would not be able to take part in
this release testing.

Hi All,

We’ve encountered some issues with the candidate builds, and both bug
fixing and testing are still in progress. As a result, we will need to
delay the release by 1 or 2 days.
We are now targeting to release v8.12 on either Friday, 20th September, or
Monday, 23rd September.
