that's what I thought and I did create the schemas under CIDR db yesterday and I think I need to revise all the scripts export from Ora2pg with "schema_name." in front of the function/trigger/table names scripts.
thank you so much for the input.

In Addition, The oracle user name and schema have the same identity. In PostgreSQL user and schema differ and you need to create a schema explicitly. Otherwise, it will go into default schema.

By default the Oracle schema is not exported into the PostgreSQL database and all objects are created under the default Pgnamespace.

Hello expert DBAs,
would you please show me how to import scripts from Ora2pg into postgres db using each schema? From ora2pg, there's no export the whole database but one by one schema.  Do I need to create each schema on postgres db and how do I run the export script per schema?  If I import them by postgres all the tables, index, etc... will be under postgres user right?
what I need to do for this import from sources of Oracle?thank you. Bach-Nga
