Subject: query performance after database rename
Date: Wed, 21 Nov 2018 09:20:31 +0000
Message-ID: <441f8b8943b44771b05fa808dbda4eb0@zuerich.ch> (raw)

Hi,

We have a postgresql cluster with two databases.
We rename (switch) the databases daily (alter database x rename to y;)
The query performance slows down after each renaming.
Question: Why? Does postgresql flush the db-cache?

Thanks,
Markus
