Hardly likely, considering that PQstatus is just
ConnStatusType
PQstatus(const PGconn *conn)
{
if (!conn)
return CONNECTION_BAD;
return conn->status;
}
I have no doubt that a query-issuing call could get blocked if the
postmaster stops responding, but not PQstatus.
