pg.ddx.io Calendars

Calendars

Subscribe to PostgreSQL community events, conference schedules, the release and commitfest cycle, and the public appearances of people and teams, in whatever calendar you already use. Each feed is a standard iCalendar (.ics) URL: subscribe once and your calendar app keeps it current, including room and time changes and cancellations.

Thank you, Andreas Scherbaum. The community event listings here come from the PostgreSQL Event Calendar, which Andreas curates by hand, and are republished with his permission. If an event is missing or wrong, please tell him; corrections there reach these feeds within the hour. Every feed that carries his data says so.

How to subscribe. Subscribe opens your system calendar (Apple Calendar, Thunderbird, GNOME/KDE, Outlook desktop). Google and Outlook add the feed to those web calendars. Or copy the .ics link into any app's "subscribe to calendar from URL" dialog. Feeds refresh hourly; Google Calendar polls on its own schedule (often every 8 to 24 hours).

Community events

Conferences, PGDays, meetups, online events, and Call for Papers deadlines (with a reminder the day before and an hour before each deadline).

By region and country

Country feeds (/cal/events/country/<iso2>.ics, e.g. de) are listed under each region when JavaScript is on, for every country with an event in the last year.

Conferences and series

Each edition's dates and CfP, plus the full talk schedule once the organisers publish it (title, speakers, room). Schedules are re-checked hourly until the event ends.

PostgreSQL releases and the development cycle

Teams

Talks and appearances by the current members of each PostgreSQL team, as listed on postgresql.org. When someone joins or leaves a team, the feed follows within a week.

People and organisations

Everyone who has spoken at a conference or appeared on Talking Postgres has a personal feed at /cal/people/<id>.ics, linked from their community profile page. Organisation feeds (/cal/orgs/<name>.ics) collect talks given by people while they worked there; employment comes from public sources and is reviewed by a person before it is used. Organisation feeds are listed on each organisation's page once they have entries.
